Headway Darlington – garden project

Headway Darlington and district support brain injury survivors and their families once they are discharged from hospital. We are desperately trying to raise funds to make a garden with seating area and also vegetable raised beds so we can start a gardening club.

Ther is currently no formal rehabilitation available in the area for brain injury survivors. Life post injury can be very isolating and difficult. Adjustment to life after injury is often a painful and lengthy process. Headway Darlington we offer a safe nonjudgmental environment where members can learn to rebuild their lives again. The garden would help to relax and rebuild members confidence.
