Background Info – Farway is a very small village in rural Devon. It has a population of 250. The football club played it’s football on several different pitches since it was formed in 1933. We purchased the land in 2003 having played there since 1975.
Sheepscombe Cricket Club is a long standing community based club in a beautiful Cotswold village. The club raised the required funds in 2014 to purchase the ground from The Laurie Lee Trust and now wish to completely refurbish the existing pavilion.
In 1929 a wooden hut was built in Welwyn Garden City to act as a meeting place for Guides and Brownies. Now, 87 years later over 300 girls aged 5-18 meet there each week and take part in the fun-filled programme that this unique organisation.
Jubilee Park has Changing Rooms that are in need of some ‘Tender Loving Care’, our project is to refurbish them with the help of our volunteers. Cardiff City Council is giving us a Licence and we intend to put them back to the way they were, fully working for the community.
If U Care Share Foundation (IUCSF) was set up in 2009 to provide support around the prevention of suicide, to deliver services to support those affected by it, and to promote positive mental health in and around the North East of England.
